The Yamaha P225 is a portable digital piano of outstanding quality, equipped with an 88-key Graded Hammer Compact (GHC) keyboard action with a matte finish on the black keys. Including the sound of the legendary Yamaha CFX concert grand piano (with Virtual Resonance Modelling Light), the P225 has 24 voices, including e.pianos, harpsichord, strings, choir, bass, organ and more. It is possible to layer two voices together in 'dual' mode, and you can split the keyboard to have different sounds in both the upper and lower registers of the keyboard. The P225 is compatible with the Yamaha L200 wooden stand and LP1 triple pedal unit to give a more authentic piano experience in your home.

Yamaha SmartPianist APP
By linking the P-225 with Yamaha’s dedicated Smart Pianist digital piano app, you can intuitively perform all operations from the screen of your smart device. There’s no longer a need to pull out the manual to see how things work.
When connecting a smart device to a musical instrument to use the app, you can use a cable or connect wirelessly using the Yamaha UD-BT01 (sold separately; for iOS only.

With the optional soft case, you can take the P-225 to the studio, a party, live gigs, or on a trip—whenever you need it.
Onboard Recording Function
If you want to listen to your playing objectively or to practice only your right hand along with what you play in your left hand, the onboard recording function of the P-225 is just what you need. You can even play duets with yourself!
Onboard Bluetooth Connectivity
The P-225 features built-in Bluetooth® audio, which lets you pair this instrument with your Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or tablet to listen to your favourite music through the instrument’s speakers. You can also play along with the sound from the instrument’s speakers. An external adapter is not required.
Preset Songs

for each Voice. If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms such as YouTube or TikTok, Yamaha's Rec’n’Share APP is the way to go. Connect the P-225 to your smart device, and record video and audio simultaneously. A cable connection is required. Make sure to purchase the correct cable for your smart device.
Sound Boost
The position and angle of the speakers within the P-225 have been adjusted to replicate the sounds reflected from the soundboard and lid of an acoustic grand piano as closely as possible. These adjustments let you enjoy playing with sharp and clear mid to high-range tones and a prominent low-end for a well-balanced sound, even when the piano is set up against a wall.
The P-225 features even a two-way speaker system that delivers expansive sound. Thanks to the Sound Boost function, you can switch to a more punchy and powerful sound.
Optional Stand & Pedal Unit
The optional stand can be easily and safely assembled when purchased separately. When purchasing the dedicated stand, please purchase the L100B, which is compatible with the P-145. In addition, you can complete your setup with the optional LP5A three-pedal unit.
