The Roland FP10 is a high quality, entry-level portable piano with a surprisingly good sound which belies its compact size and low price. Featuring the acclaimed PHA-4 Standard piano keyboard and SuperNATURAL piano voices, the FP10 is the perfect beginner's instrument or an ideal buy for a more experienced musician who wants a lightweight portable piano for on the move.

Rich & Vibrant Piano Sound

The Roland piano sound is derived from a unique creation process called SuperNATURAL sampling. The piano voices in the FP10 have been tried and tested in higher priced models and offer superb value and performance in a low-cost instrument.

Responsive Key Action with Ivory feel

The FP10 is fitted with the Roland PHA-4 standard keyboard action. This key mechanism simulates the touch of a grand piano and has escapement simulation for fast note repetition. The pHA4 is a graded keyboard - the lower octaves are slightly heavier in touch compared with the upper registers - just like a traditional acoustic grand piano. The white notes have 'ivory feel' keytops which prevent your fingers from slipping when performing.

Realistic Pedal Response

The FP10 is supplied with a plastic sustain footswitch, but this can be upgraded to the feel of a traditional acoustic piano pedal experience by purchasing the Roland DP10 pedal.

Furthermore, the DP10 offers half-pedalling functionality (only possible with the DP10 and not the standard footswitch supplied in the box).

Bluetooth MIDI Equipped

Connect the FP10 to your favourite smart device to access popular apps such as Roland's Piano Partner 2, or the many hundreds of third-party music-making titles. Wireless Bluetooth communication opens up a whole new World of music tuition and creation possibilities. Bluetooth features on the FP10 are MIDI only - there is no Bluetooth audio.

Other useful Features

Onboard metronome, as well as a choice of high-quality instrument voices including e.piano, organ strings, vocals and organs. Twin Piano Mode lets teacher & pupil sit side-by-side at the piano with both people experiencing the same tonal registers. The headphone output allows the instrument to be used without disturbing others in the household.

Optional Wooden Stand

The FP10 can either be used with a portable metal stand for on-the-road or can be turned into a smart piece of furniture with the optional KSCFP-10 wooden piano stand (available separately).
