Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T | Fired Red

Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS02T | Fired Red

Built for players who need true versatility, the new Revstar Standard offers two pickup configurations, 5-way switching, and Yamaha’s powerful passive Focus Switch for an instant boost when you need it.

This model comes equipped with P90-style single-coil pickups, a 5-position selector, the Focus Switch boost circuit, and a custom racing-inspired tailpiece - all wrapped up in a bold, performance-driven design.

Chambered Body with Acoustic Design

Revstar Standard models feature a chambered body that enhances resonance, reduces weight, and delivers a more expressive tone. A carbon-reinforced neck improves stability and optimizes vibration transfer.

5-Way Switching

Using the same 5-way selector found on Revstar Professional models, positions 2 and 4 introduce subtle phase variations - offering a unique twist on classic “in-between” tones.

Focus Switch

A push/pull Tone control engages a passive boost that mimics the response of overwound pickups, adding darker highs, richer mids, and a more aggressive overall character.

Pickup Options

The RSS02T features P90-style single coils. Each pickup is built by Yamaha for powerful, expressive performance.

Switch On

The Focus Switch (Standard and Professional) and the Dry Switch filter (Revstar Element) add even more tonal flexibility, allowing players to shape their sound with ease.

Features

  • Four café-racer–inspired finishes

  • Chambered maple-and-mahogany body

  • Carbon-reinforced, 3-piece mahogany neck

  • Dual P90-style pickups

  • 5-position pickup selector

  • Passive Focus Switch for added punch

  • Includes deluxe gig bag
