Yamaha FGX820C Electro Acoustic Guitar; Natural
The Yamaha FGX820C Electro-Acoustic Guitar is a refined instrument derived from the popular FG820 model. It features a solid Spruce top paired with Mahogany back and sides, providing a rich and balanced tonal quality. The neck, made from Nato with a matt finish, offers smooth playability and comfort. The FGX820C distinguishes itself with a cutaway body, facilitating easier access to higher frets, and incorporates Yamaha's advanced electric system for versatile sound options.
Equipped with Yamaha's proprietary under-saddle piezo pickup and the System66 analog preamp, the FGX820CII delivers robust and reliable performance when plugged in. This guitar is meticulously crafted, with each aspect designed to enhance its quality and longevity. From the selection and treatment of the woods to the hand-sprayed finishes and rigorous quality control, the FGX820C is built to be a lifelong companion for musicians.
The guitar sports a traditional Western body shape and has a nut width of 43mm (1 11/16”), providing a familiar feel for players. It features cream binding and 20 frets on a 650mm (25 9/16”) scale length, with elegant black and white inlays. The die-cast chrome tuners ensure stable tuning, while the bridge, made from rosewood or walnut, adds to the guitar's aesthetic and functional appeal. The inclusion of SRT piezo pickups and SYSTEM66 electronics ensures that the FGX820C is ready for any performance setting. Additionally, the scalloped bracing and urea nut further contribute to its excellent sound projection and playability.
