Steinway & Sons are one of the most renowned and sought-after piano manufacturers. Their Model D Concert Grand Piano can be found in concert halls all over the world, thanks to their precision and exceptional tonal qualities.

The Model O is the largest piano in Steinway’s "Domestic" grand range, measuring 5 feet 11 inches in length. This specific instrument hails from Steinway’s esteemed "Golden Era," a period often celebrated for producing some of the finest pianos in the company’s history. It has been expertly restored with a new action and hammer assembly, tuning pins, strings, and refinished cabinet elements. The result is an instrument with remarkable power, long sustain, and a rich tonal character, complemented by a responsive and expressive touch.

The following restoration work has been carried out on this exquisite piano:

• Cabinet fully stripped and refinished in a high gloss ebony polyester 

• Soundboard restored and revarnished, complete with a new decal

• Frame carefully sanded and resprayed in Steinway’s traditional matte finish

• New bridge caps and hitch pins installed

• New fallboard logo and music desk fitted

• Replacement of the wrest plank with high-quality Canadian maple

• All-new tuning pins, steel strings, and custom-crafted bass strings

• Brand new authentic Steinway action and hammer mechanisms installed and regulated

• Hammer voicing to ensure tonal consistency and balance

This piano is delivered free of charge to all England addresses where access is simple – ie no steps, stairs or other obstacles which may require additional lifting equipment or manpower. Warranty

This instrument is sold with a 5 year warranty. The warranty covers all parts and labour. If the piano needs repairing, then we come to your home. Tuning and general maintenance/servicing is not covered by warranty.
