Roland VR730 73 Note V-Combo Keyboard

Roland VR730 73 Key V-Combo Keyboard

The Roland VR730 is a keyboard with 73 notes and a traditional semi-weighted waterfall organ style key action. The VR730 is the ideal “all round” keyboard for the gigging keyboard player as is has high quality organ, classic electric piano, acoustic piano and synthesizer sounds - all in a lightweight, easy to carry package. The VR730’s organ sounds are modelled on the classic drawbar organs which are so very popular in rock, blues, jazz and gospel music. There is an-board rotary speaker simulator with overdrive to give the cutting edge sound that is associated with this type of instrument. Acoustic & electric pianos are also of the exceptional high quality that you would expect from Roland - including some sounds taken from their flagship RD2000 stage piano. Everything about the VR730 has been designed with the player in mind. The control panel layout is intuitive and all the controls needed for live playing are close at hand.

If you already own a keyboard that you would like to upgrade to the Roland VR730, then the Bonners part exchange programme is ideal for you. We take the hassle out of selling your keyboard, and you can have the new instrument of your choice sooner than you thought! Simply email us details of the keyboard you wish to trade-in to [email protected] and we’ll get right back to you with a valuation. We can collect your old keyboard at the same time as the delivery of your new instrument. If you have any queries relating to part exchange, please call us on 01323 639335.

The VR730 runs on mains or battery power!

Weighing just 9.9kg, the VR730 can be powered by AC mains or batteries.

Three Distinct Sound Sections

The VR730 has three independent sound sections - organ, piano and synth. These sections can be layered or split across the keyboard to create your own combinations of sounds, and stored to the presets for easy recall when in a live situation. The synth tones are derived from Roland’s INTEGRA sound module and feature the SuperNATURAL technology - high quality and extremely useful “gig-orientated” sounds

Onboard Effects

Up to seven effects can be used at any one time. As well as a new “Rock Rotary” Effect (this is designed to make the organ sound cut through the mix - even in the loudest bands!), there are other effects which feature classic keyboard effects such as chorus, phaser, delay, wah, reverb, flanging and many more. These can be applied to the sound sections independently and effects settings are memorised along with your own favourite presets.

Expand The Sounds - Completely Free Of Charge

The sound set of the VR730 is expandable via free downloads from the Roland Axial website. Roland will be adding brand new sounds and patches for your VR730 keyboard.

Looks Great On Stage!

The VR730 doesn’t just sound vintage - its case design gives a nod to the traditional tonewheel organs of the past. The wooden side panels and simplistic design look great on stage whilst retaining that traditional, retro keyboard image.

iPad Editor For Creating Your Own Sounds

Roland has developed a free iPad editor for the VR730 which allows you to edit and create your own organ and synth voices. This app is downloadable from the Apple APP store.

Rhythm Patterns, Metronome & Looper

Make your practice sessions more interesting with the onboard rhythm patterns. There is also an onboard audio looper (this was pioneered by Boss - a Roland guitar effects brand) which allows you to record phrases that playback in loops so you can jam over the top of them. This is not only great fun, but this technology has also formed the basis of many guitar-based solo acts over the past few years. Roland now brings this unique technology to keyboard players. It is also possible to record your performances in audio format to a connected USB memory stick (not included).
