The keyboard action captures and understands every movement perfectly, translating the player’s expression and dynamic into a truly authentic performance.
Sound Generation
The LX6 features Roland’s latest innovation in sound modelling technology. “Piano Reality Modelling” captures and recreates all of the nuances of an acoustic grand piano in greater detail than ever before. Working in sync with the keyboard action, this technology offers attention to detail in expression for even the most demanding and advanced pianists.
When practicing using headphones, Roland’s new Piano Reality Headphones Ambience features ensures the playing experience remains the same when practicing silently.
Pedals
As well as sound modelling, the LX6 also features new Damper Modelling, which offers an authentic level of performance when it comes to using the sustain pedal. Continuous detection means even the most subtle of changes in pedalling are picked up and captured in great detail.
Bluetooth & Apps
The LX6 features both Bluetooth MIDI and Audio connectivity. With Bluetooth Version 5.0 the connection is fast and seamless. Use Bluetooth Audio to stream songs or pieces from your smart device to play along to, and connect to Roland’s Piano App using MIDI to expand on what the instrument offers on-board. The app serves as a companion, giving alternative access to functions such as key touch, ambience and transpose. The app also offers additional features, including recording, auto-accompaniment, and learning modes. Access over 300 sheet music pieces with Roland’s optional membership subscriptions.
