Precision and expression are at the forefront of the latest generation of the PHA-50 action, as the LX5 benefits from new High-Precision Sensing to satisfy more discerning players.
Sound Generation
Roland’s latest innovation in creating the most authentic piano sound is their next-generation Piano Reality Modeling, which you can hear on the LX5. Expressive playing relies not only on a good quality keyboard mechanism but also on the sound engine’s ability to recreate all of the nuances and ambience of an acoustic piano. Piano Reality Headphones Ambience offers the same level of performance when practising using headphones.
Pedals
Continuous detection on the LX5’s damper pedal offers an authentic level of sustaining and blending notes, just as you can on acoustic instruments. New Damper Modelling captures all the subtle pedalling changes in greater detail than ever before.
Bluetooth & Apps
The LX5 is compatible with Bluetooth Version 5.0, which offers Audio connectivity, enabling you to play along to or stream songs and pieces from your smart device wirelessly. The Bluetooth MIDI function connects seamlessly to the Roland Piano App, which serves as a companion to enhance the playing experience beyond what is offered within the instrument itself.
