Sound Generation
Roland’s latest innovation in creating the most authentic piano sound is their next-generation Piano Reality Modeling, which you can hear on the LX5. Expressive playing relies not only on a good quality keyboard mechanism but also on the sound engine’s ability to recreate all of the nuances and ambience of an acoustic piano. Piano Reality Headphones Ambience offers the same level of performance when practising using headphones.
Pedals
Continuous detection on the LX5’s damper pedal offers an authentic level of sustaining and blending notes, just as you can on acoustic instruments. New Damper Modelling captures all the subtle pedalling changes in greater detail than ever before.
Bluetooth & Apps
The LX5 is compatible with Bluetooth Version 5.0, which offers Audio connectivity, enabling you to play along to or stream songs and pieces from your smart device wirelessly. The Bluetooth MIDI function connects seamlessly to the Roland Piano App, which serves as a companion to enhance the playing experience beyond what is offered within the instrument itself. Easy access to features such as transpose, split key and key touch is possible through the app and additions including auto-accompaniment, a visual metronome, learning modes and recording functions. The Roland LX5 features an intuitive touch panel interface and graphic LCD display, offering simple and elegant navigation through the menus and settings. The keyboard lid slides forward to close. Choose from a variety of finishes: high-gloss polished ebony, dark rosewood, charcoal black, and light oak.

The new Piano Reality Projection creates a rich and spacious sound through the LX5’s four-speaker system. Two coaxial cabinet speakers are joined by smaller dome-shapes near-field speakers to allow those treble frequencies to cut through and sparkle.
