Components made from ABS-Carbon are used in the action, which is lighter than traditional piano action components, yet none of the strength is sacrificed. Great care and detail has gone into every aspect of the E300, including the finest quality T-stapled hammers, which preserve shape and generate an exceptional tone with an added interior layer of underfelt.

Tapered Spruce Soundboard
Produced from straight-grained, quarter-sawn solid spruce, Kawai’s soundboards are tapered to increase surface area, maximising the resonance and tonal richness of the instrument. The soundboard design and materials enable the piano to produce a vibrant, clear sound with impressive sustain and dynamic range.

Cabinet Design
