The new Hammond XK5 Classic edition is the latest instrument to join the XK5 family. With looks inspired by the classic Tonewheel Hammonds of yesteryear, the XK5 'Classic' is available either as a complete system with 25 note pedalboard, matching bench & bespoke music desk or as a modular system for you to choose your own accessories. The cabinet is finished in a simulated dark walnut finish and looks stunning - whether at home, in the studio, or on stage.

Extraordinary attention to detail has gone into designing the new XK5 Classic cabinet. Cables and switches are hidden inside the cabinet, leaving a clean, natural wood look which gives the iconic look of the vintage instruments.

This item includes the lower manual and classically styled cabinet ONLY. You will need to already own, or purchase an XK5 61 note upper keyboard separately. The lower manual is a standard Hammond XLK5 but pre-installed in this beautiful 'Classic' look cabinet.

The Very Best Hammond Sound Engine
At the heart of the XK5 Classic is the best sound engine Hammond Suzuki has ever produced. Using a combination of sampling and computer modelling, the XK5 Classic reproduces an authentic simulation of the classic B3 organ. Important sonic details such as key click, harmonic percussion, vibrato-chorus are - as you would expect - all available, but in addition to this, it is possible to customise the sound of your XK5 to make it 'yours'.

Give Your XK5 It's Own Unique Voice
Although they may have left the factory-calibrated in the same way, no two Hammond Tonewheel organs sound or respond exactly the same after decades of use. Hammond Suzuki has extended the number of tone generator parameters available to enable you to customise your XK5 to sound like any Hammond organ of your choice. It is possible to alter overall tone generator characteristics such as leakage and pickup cross-talk, as well as individual tonewheel behaviour including to depths never before offered in a clonewheel type instrument. Using the XK5's computer modelling technology, it is even possible to faithfully simulate the effect that the matching transformer had on the original sound.

Your individually voiced Hammond organ sets can be saved for recall at a later date - in fact, you can store as many custom setups as you like to an external USB memory device which means you can create your own collection of individually voiced vintage Hammond organs.
