With no weight relief, the solid mahogany body provides all the sustain and warmth you could wish for, while the maple cap contributes sparkling top-end clarity. Traditional nitro lacquer allows this classic tonewood combination to resonate to its full potential also ensuring the stunning Gold Top finish will improve with time.
The mahogany neck features a rounded `50s profile that is chunky and substantial yet comfortable. Authentic trapezoid inlays and cream binding give the rosewood fretboard a luxurious appearance while medium jumbo frets and a 12” radius make fretting a dream.
Front and centre of this flagship model are two glorious P90 pickups that deliver creamy, dynamic tone that is a little hotter than the originals thanks to Alnico V magnets. Premium audio taper pots and Orange Drop capacitors create a clear signal path so all the woody goodness of those P90s can reach your amp in their purest form.
