Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster; Butterscotch Blonde; Serial No: V49619 | Second Hand

Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster; Butterscotch Blonde; Serial Number: V49619 | Second Hand

The Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster Butterscotch serves as a meticulous tribute to the "Blackguard" era that defined the early years of the solid-body electric guitar. It is built around a premium ash body specifically selected for its resonant qualities and traditional grain patterns, finished in a thin Fender Flash Coat nitrocellulose lacquer. This particular finish is designed to be much thinner than standard modern coatings, allowing the wood to "breathe" and age more naturally while providing a lighter, more authentic Butterscotch Blonde hue. The one-piece maple neck features a substantial 1952 "U" profile, offering a chunky, period-correct grip that fills the hand and contributes to the instrument’s renowned sustain. With a 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and 21 vintage-style frets, the playing experience remains firmly rooted in the feel of a golden-era original.

For its sonic character, the guitar is equipped with a pair of American Vintage '52 single-coil pickups, which have been specially voiced to capture the specific snap and twang of early fifties Telecasters. These pickups utilise Alnico 3 magnets and enamel-coated wire to produce a sweet, clear high end and a focused midrange that cuts through a mix without becoming harsh. The attention to detail extends to the hardware and aesthetic appointments, including a three-saddle brass bridge for classic intonation, a single-ply black pickguard, and historically accurate dome-head slot screws. Every component, from the barrel-type switch tip to the knurled chrome control knobs, has been refined to meet exacting vintage specifications. Shipped in a period-correct tweed hardshell case with reproduction case candy, this model remains a benchmark for players seeking the uncompromising soul of a 1952 workhorse.
