The American Professional Classic Jaguar is Fender’s latest love letter to one of its most distinctive designs. With its short scale, snappy tone, and unmistakable offset shape, this new addition to the Classic series blends vintage soul with modern reliability — and it absolutely delivers.
At the core are a pair of Coastline ’62 single-coil Jaguar pickups, specially voiced to capture that signature Jaguar sound — bright, punchy, and full of character. They’ve got all the chime and cut you’d expect, with just the right amount of warmth to balance things out, whether you’re playing clean, drenched in reverb, or cranked through fuzz.
The neck feels fast and familiar — a Modern “C” profile with a smooth satin urethane finish that makes it easy to play for hours. The 9.5" fingerboard radius offers a great balance between comfortable chording and easy bending, sitting right in the sweet spot for modern players.
Down at the bridge, Fender’s gone for a Jaguar-style setup with Mustang saddles for better stability, paired with the classic vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece — perfect for subtle pitch shifts and surfy wiggles without throwing your tuning out.
