The all new Fender American performer Series Telecaster Humbucker guitar replaces the Fender American Special Series Telecaster. This brand new model for 2018 includes Yosemite single coil Shellac coated bridge pickup for rich expressive tones and a wax potted Doubletap humbucking neck pickup controlled via a push/pull tone pot.This unique, patent-applied-for design combines humbucking and single-coil voices, while eliminating volume loss in single-coil mode. The Yosemite pickups have flat staggered pole pieces for high output and the breathable coatings, Shellac for the neck and wax potted for the bridge, produce a wide sound and are ideal for any style of music.
Other features of the Fender American Performer Series Telecaster Humbucker includes Greasebucket tone circuitry to shape the highs without adding bass. The modern C neck shape has a 9.5" radius fingerboard along with 22 jumbo frets for great easy bending.
