The all new American Performer Stratocaster HSS by Fender feature the Yosemite single-coil pickups, engineered for a rich musical tones and a DoubleTap humbucking bridge pickup. This unique , patent applied for design combines humbucking and single coil voicing while cancelling volume loss in single mode. Featuring flat staggered pole pieces for high output and a Shellac coating to help control feedback.

The Fender American Performer Stratocaster also features Greasebucket tone circuitry and a push-pull tone control which adds the neck pickup in any switch position, unlocking new, musically useful tones. The Modern C shaped neck of the Fender American Performer Strat sports a 9.5 radius fingerboard that's comfortable for almost any playing style, along with 22 jumbo frets for effortless and accurate bending.
