Epiphone Flying V; Ebony

Epiphone Original Designer Collection Flying V Ebony Guitar

Ever since its first appearance back in 1958, the Flying V has been a rallying point for those who require big tone and don’t mind people knowing about it. The new Epiphone Flying V from their Inspired by Gibson Collection marries classic looks and sound with modern playability for the ultimate rock experience.

Both the body and neck are crafted from Mahogany, just like the original. Mahogany produces a warm tone with a pronounced midrange and tonnes of glorious sustain, perfect for getting you heard in a busy mix. The gloss Ebony finish and contrasting white pickguard accentuate the classic body shape and will look amazing on any stage.

Featuring Epiphone's SlimTaper C-Profile, the neck is fast and comfortable along its full length. Adorning the neck is a smooth laurel fretboard with a 12” radius and 22 medium jumbo frets that invite huge bends and ambitious solos the moment you get your fingers on it.

A pair of Epiphone’s highly rated ProBucker humbuckers provide a rich, vintage-inspired voice that will suit anything from blues to metal. These pickups utilise cast Alnico II magnets, 18% nickel silver cases and wax potting to produce authentic PAF tones and the bridge pickup has been overwound for even more power.

You can have total confidence when playing the Epiphone Flying V as it includes a LockTone bridge and Vintage Deluxe tuners with an 18:1 ratio for smooth, accurate tuning that is super stable no matter how hard you rock.
