Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s (Left-handed) | Vintage Sunburst
Epiphone Original Collection Les Paul 50s Left Hand Vintage Sunburst Guitar
The Epiphone Les Paul Standard ‘50s is a true reflection of what has made original Gibson models the most sought after guitars on the planet. Vintage feel and tone combine in a sublime alchemy that is totally inspiring from the very first note.
Just like late ‘50s Les Pauls, the body is constructed from the tried and tested combination of Mahogany and Maple. This results in a warm expressive tone with sustain that just goes on and on… and on! Every flame on the AAA Maple top is accentuated by the Vintage Sunburst finish that elegantly follows every swoop and curve.
The Mahogany neck features a rounded medium “C” profile that closely resembles the chunky feel of a ‘58 Les Paul. Although this neck carve can feel big at first, once you get used to it you will be wishing all your guitars offered this much support and comfort. Fitted to the neck is a 12” radius Indian Laurel fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets that feel so smooth you will struggle to put it down.
At the heart of the Les Paul Standard ‘50s are a pair of Epiphone’s highly regarded ProBuckers™. These sublime pickups have been carefully engineered to provide faithful PAF tones with authentic features including cast Alnico II magnets, nickel silver cases and vacuum wax potting. Combined with era-correct wiring and premium CTS potentiometers this is a recipe for articulate, dynamic tone that will have you and your audience clamouring for more.
