The open back design, provides a mellow sound that is softer than a resonator banjo, making it ideal for clawhammer playing styles and traditional folk genres.

 

The body on the MB-100 is made from mahogany, which is a rich tonewood that provides plenty of sonic warmth.

The neck is also manufactured from mahogany, and is paired with a Pau Ferro fingerboard, creating excellent clarity, with balanced intonation across the entire neck.

 

With a Remo head, the MB-100 provides a crisp and clear tone, and delivers individual note distinction.
