The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Collection proudly introduces the Les Paul Standard ’50s - a stunning tribute to the iconic guitars that defined a generation. Designed to capture the authentic feel and rich tone of 1950s-era Les Pauls, this model delivers vintage character with modern reliability.
Epiphone’s connection with Les Paul dates back to 1940, when he crafted one of the world’s first solid-body electric guitars - famously known as “The Log” - while working late nights at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. That groundbreaking design would go on to inspire the legendary Les Paul Standard, widely regarded as one of the greatest electric guitars ever made.
Built with a solid mahogany body and maple cap (featuring AAA veneer on figured finishes), the Les Paul Standard ’50s offers classic tone and sustain. The 50s-style mahogany neck with a long neck tenon provides excellent resonance and a comfortable, vintage-inspired feel, while the Indian laurel fingerboard is adorned with traditional trapezoid inlays. Premium features include Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, acclaimed ProBucker humbuckers, and gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers for authentic styling and performance.
Additional details such as the Kalamazoo headstock, rolled neck edges for enhanced comfort, Graph Tech NuBone nut, era-correct wiring, and CTS pots ensure this instrument stays true to its heritage.

This guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well looked after by the previous owner. There are just a few very light surface scratches to the headstock.
