The Epiphone Explorer, part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection, is a precise tribute to the definitive 1958 classic, balancing historical aesthetics with modern refinements for the contemporary player. This model is engineered to deliver the resonant tonal characteristics and unmistakable silhouette that established the Explorer as a staple in rock and metal history.
The instrument is constructed with a solid mahogany body, selected for its natural resonance and harmonic warmth. The mahogany neck is carved to a SlimTaper profile and paired with an Indian Laurel fingerboard featuring a 12” radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. This hardware configuration is finished in a high-gloss Ebony lacquer with contrasting nickel-plated components for a professional aesthetic.

Second Hand
This guitar is in good condition with a few surface scratches. There is a slightly deeper scratch on the back of the guitar near the electronics backplate and a small dink on the back of the neck (both pictured). The Bridge pickup has been replaced with a Gretsch Filter'Tron Pickup.
