The Ecstasy Blue is a discrete Class A overdrive pedal designed to replicate the gain structure of the Bogner Ecstasy amplifier's blue channel. The circuit architecture avoids the use of op-amps and clipping diodes, relying instead on multiple gain stages to provide an organic, amplifier-like response. Four toggle switches allow for fine-tuning of the Variac response, Mode, Pre-EQ, and Structure. The unit also includes an independent boost with dedicated Volume and Gain controls, effectively functioning as a two-channel pre-amplifier.
