The Blackstar TV-10 A is a 10-watt, single-ended Class A valve amplifier designed to deliver classic American-style tones. It combines an ECC83 preamp valve with a 6L6 power valve and is paired with a matching 1x12 cabinet fitted with a Celestion A-Type speaker. The amp features a clean channel alongside a footswitchable drive mode, allowing smooth transitions from bright, glassy cleans to naturally compressed overdrive. A custom-voiced, footswitchable reverb adds depth while maintaining clarity.
The character of the TV-10 A comes from its single-ended power stage, which responds dynamically to playing intensity and master volume settings. The 6L6 power valve produces articulate clean tones and rich saturation when driven harder. An emulated line output, taken after the power amp, captures the sound of the Class A output stage and transformer under load, making it suitable for direct recording via a stereo TRS connection. Additional features include a series effects loop, premium vintage styling, and an included FS-4S footswitch, making the TV-10 A equally at home in the studio, at home, or on smaller stages.
