The Blackstar Artist FR Special is a 100W FRFR (Full Range, Flat Response) powered cabinet designed to deliver the feel and response of a traditional guitar amplifier. Using a custom-designed 1×12" flat-response speaker with a whizzer cone, it provides clear, accurate reproduction of amp models and effects, making it suitable for home practice, studio use, stage monitoring, or live performances. Built on Blackstar’s proven cabinet construction and power amp technology, the Artist FR Special offers reliable performance, punch, and dynamic response across a wide range of playing styles.
Front-panel controls include master volume, a 3-band active EQ, and a Presence control, allowing precise tone shaping for different amp models, instruments, and environments. A built-in kickstand enables tilt-back positioning for stage monitoring, while the compact format ensures portability without sacrificing sound quality.
